Infonitum.com Status
Posted by Bob Woods in Housekeeping on July 9th, 2009
Just a very quick note to let you know that the Infonitum.com Web site is almost complete and ready for public unveiling.
While our use of the WordPress blog and content-management system makes this site very easy to update — and it will be constantly updated, just like any good Web site is — the “foundation” of the site is largely done.
We have just a few other things to add to a few pages (mainly audio and video), but we’re pretty much there.
Thanks for your patience. Fortunately, we’re at a place in our development where we have active projects happening at the same time we’re starting business. That’s good for us, but it has meant that development of this site has been a bit slower than we’d like.
We expect it to be fully complete by early next week.

Leavin’ On a Jet Plane

… but I do know when I’ll be back again.
I’m leaving very early tomorrow morning, to go to a conference for a client of mine. I’ll be back very late Wednesday. With all of the follow-up I’ll have to do afterwards, I probably won’t be back at this blog until next week.
In the meantime, I’ve got some stuff autoposting tomorrow and Thursday. So check back for that. Or, you can just subscribe to the RSS feed here, and the new content will magically appear in your fave RSS feeder. You can also subscribe via e-mail.
Thanks, and see you soon.

I’ve written a lot of blog posts over my Internet “lifetime.” Topics related to real estate, social networking, sales and marketing, and even a decent amount of fun stuff.
While I’m getting this site up to fighting strength, I’m going to re-work and publish those posts that are applicable for the site’s specific audience. I’m hoping that you’ll derive the same benefits that readers at my other blogs have received. Those postings will start next week.
In the meantime, if you want to check out those blogs:
- Sibdu Blog, covering commercial real estate topics and news. This site even has my video and audio productions.
- Portalfuze Blog, which concentrates on social media-related topics
I’m writing as myself on both of those blogs for my clients, being eCREsystems and Portalfuze — by the way, I devleoped the content for both of those sites, too. When I get the content for this site fully up and running, you’ll understand how blog postings can help you and/or your company build credibility and a “voice” for whatever community it is you serve.

Coming Soon!
Posted by Bob Woods in Housekeeping on June 8th, 2009
For those of you who are here as a result of speaking with me (Bob Woods, not the pasty white guy at the right) at a networking event, out and about, etc., this Web site is very much under construction.
You’ll be noticing a lot of changes in the next days and weeks, as I figure out how to better use the WordPress platform. I’ve used it before, just never to this extent.
Update 06/29: The site is about 75% finished. It should be completely done in about a week or so. But as you may know, a truly effective Web site is never finished, as it can always be improved or have new content added.
Update 07/09: The site is about 90% finished. I keep finding examples of work I’ve done in the past to add to the site, which is a good thing — it shows that I have the experience and qualifications needed to bring your social media project, Web site or blog, or B2B materials to life.
Enjoy the view of the construction. It’ll be sort of like watching a building go up, but without the dust, the noise, or having to walk through one of those steel-and-wood makeshift tunnels. If you’ve ever been at a construction site in a city, you’ll know what I mean by the last one.
